The company wanted to create a showroom that displayed their products throughout the showroom in a way that reflected the brand’s aesthetic. We delivered on that goal by building out a the space with new flooring, drywall, electrical and installation of their new products
Agilent Technologies
Agilent Technologies completes scientific solutions, helping customers achieve superior outcomes in their labs, clinics, and businesses. The company focuses in six key markets such as food, environmental and forensics, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, chemical and energy, and research. The Agilent Technologies laboratory project consisted of demolition, drywall/carpentry, new doors, plumbing, electrical and flooring. The project allowed us to create laboratories for Agilent for their staff, but also create a space that allow for their testing to continue for years to come.
Beaufurn Showroom
Beaufurn Furniture provides high-quality commercial furniture to suit their clients design. Beaufurn was looking to build out a showroom which displayed their product line. The project consisted of new drywall, custom millwork ceilings, new lighting, and custom paint throughout the showroom.
BMO Harris
BMO Harris Bank was looking to expand their footprint in Chicago by opening up a new retail branch in Chicago. The new branch buildout allowed BMO to provide customers with digital experiences that fit today’s technology, while freeing up branch teams to spend more time engaging with customers. The new branch buildout consisted of new entry vestibule, digital displays, new millwork, flooring, new MEP’s, and many other trades. the success delivered from this project and other projects with BMO Harris, we continue to meet the needs our client and deliver successful projects.
Brentano Showroom
Brentano is a fabric company that provides solutions for residential, hospitality, and commercial uses. The company wanted to create a showroom to display their design pieces, and also convey their brand image via clean sleek design. The project construction consisted of new tile flooring, millwork, and new product displays.
Brown Jordan - Chicago
Brown Jordan is one of the finest makers of innovative outdoor furniture. When they wanted to refresh their 5,500 sq. ft showroom at the Merchandise Mart, Bushman Construction helped bring the same sense of innovation and dedication to high quality in completing the project. With a two-phase approach, the project incorporated complex designs such as high-end millwork, a moss portal entry and increased brand presence throughout the showroom. Bushman Construction was able to complete the renovation by meeting the client’s design goals and has continued the successful relationship to build out other showrooms for the client in other markets across the country.
Brown Jordan - San Francisco
Brown Jordan is one of the finest maker of innovative outdoor furniture. The project consisted of 3,635 sq. ft tenant build out for Brown Jordan Showroom in San Francisco. The project incorporated designs which included high end millwork, moss portal entry, and helped showcase the Brown Jordan brand extensively throughout the showroom. Bushman Construction was able to complete the renovation by meeting the clients design goals and has continued the successful relationship to build out other showrooms for the client.
Concertex Showroom
Concertex is a material innovation company, producing many different types of textiles, coated fabrics, wallcovering, wall tiles for solutions indoor and outdoor. Their products are found in the hospitality, healthcare, and contract market sector. The company wanted to create a showroom that allowed us to creatively display their products, which we were successfully able to do.
Forward Space Showroom
Forward Space is known as a leading Steelcase dealer, in which they provide solutions ranging from seating, tables, flooring, surface materials, and other products which allowed the company to expand their footprint in the Merchandise mart. The showroom buildout consisted of demolition, drywall and carpentry, paint, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other trades. The project allowed us to provide a beautiful showroom for our client and allowed us to integrate their furniture to complement the design of the space.
Gloster Furniture
Gloster Furniture is a provider of fine outdoor furniture with a rich history of incorporating teak furniture into their collection. The project consisted of creating a new showroom, which involved new epoxy flooring, drywall and carpentry work, custom millwork, new storefront, lighting, plumbing, and other trades.
GMI Showroom
GMI Companies is a product display company, and they wanted to create a showroom that showcased their brands such as Ghent, Waddell, and VividBoard. The company product lines include glass boards, whiteboards, tackboards, easels, enclosed message centers and signage. The showroom buildout included selective demolition, new storefront, luxury vinyl tile, HVAC, electrical and much more. The buildout was completed on time and within budget, but also allowed us to continue to do work for the client each year.

Hightower Showroom
Hightower is a high-end furniture company that provides design solutions for designers, companies and consumers across a number of industries, including technology, education and hospitality. The showroom buildout consisted of new drywall, custom millwork, plumbing, HVAC, new storefront and much more. The project was awarded IIDA Best Small Showroom and Best of Competition and received high remarks for the design and construction. Winners of 2019 IIDA Best Small Showroom and Best of Competition.
Indiana Furniture
Indiana Furniture is a leading manufacturer of affordable, design-friendly workplace products. The company decided it was time for an expansion of their current showroom, so they can display their new product lines. The expansion project included a new storefront, luxury vinyl tile flooring, electrical, drywall and carpentry, millwork, and other trades. The expansion project allowed us to understand the client’s brand, but also incorporate a design to complement the existing space with the new space.
Italcer
Italcer is a producer of high-end indoor and outdoor ceramic products for residential and commercial use. The project consisted of constructing three different spaces – their showroom, office space, and the design center located on the highly visible and foot-trafficked first floor of the Merchandise Mart. Bushman Construction was able to integrate the visions of Italcer and created each space to incorporate their product displays. The project was a success as we met the goals of the client and produced a wow-worthy showroom.
L'Appetito
L’Appetito Restaurant is a family run restaurant looking to expand into Northwestern Hospital. The restaurant buildout consisted of new drywall/carpentry, HVAC, millwork, painting, plumbing, flooring, and other trades. The project was a success and met the levels of construction standards by Northwestern Hospital and the client.
Livingstone
Livingstone wanted an engaging space, allowing us to provide them with new offices in the heart of Chicago's River North Neighborhood. The buildout consisted of painting, millwork, graphics and electrical. The project was a success...we were able to deliver an exciting environment for their clients and employees.
Mario Tricoci - Michigan Avenue
Mario Tricoci Salon and Day Spa is a hair salon and day spa which has been around for over 40 years and was looking to expand their footprint in Chicago. The company wanted to build a hair salon and day spa which incorporated sleek and modern design. The buildout consisted of high end millwork, tiling, new style stations, electrical and other trades which helped transform the spa into a high end salon. The relationship developed allowed us to continue to transform other salons for Mario Tricoci.
Mario Tricoci - Vernon Hills
Mario Tricoci Salon and Day Spa is a hair salon and day spa which has been around for over 40 years and was looking to expand their footprint in Vernon Hills, IL. The company wanted to build a hair salon and day spa which incorporated sleek and modern design which is found in their other locations. The buildout consisted of high-end millwork, new tiling, new style stations, electrical, and other trades and allowed us to build a beautiful salon for their clients. The relationship has allowed us to continue our relationship and transform other salons for Mario Tricoci.
Michael Cleary Showroom
Michael Cleary Showroom is known for providing stunning fabrics, wallcoverings, lighting and furniture. The company decided to expand their showroom on the 6th floor of the Merchandise Mart, which allowed the company to display new product lines. The project consisted of new epoxy floors, millwork, storefront, electrical, drywall and carpentry, millwork, and other trades. The project allowed us to collaborate with all trades to provide the best solution for our client and create a showroom to meet their vision.
Patriot Equities
A private equity firm focused on acquisition, ownership and operation of formerly corporate owned real estate. The firm wanted to renovate their offices in Downers Grove, which included tile flooring, carpet, paint, millwork, electrical and other trades. The project was a success as we were able coordinate multiple trades and provide a high-quality office renovation for our clients.
Prada
Prada was looking to remodel their shop in the St. Louis, Neiman Marcus. The buildout consisted of new stone flooring, millworker, electrical and other trades to help complete the space. The project enabled Prada to showcase their high end merchandise in the shop and provide a new shop that customers will continue to use for years to come.
Scandinavian Spaces
Scandinavian Spaces offers cutting-edge furniture and interior solutions for modern day work environment. The company delivers unique products that embrace individual wellness for the contract market. The showroom consisted of a 3,100 sq. foot buildout of the new showroom which consisted of all new interior finishes such as new custom millwork, painting, flooring, and kitchen. We wanted to provide the perfect showroom for our client as there were a variety of colors that were used, different colored carpets, and other design pieces that tied the whole showroom together. The project consisted of new electrical, millwork, carpet and paint of the entire space. Serendipity Labs
Providing a space for coworking and shared offices, private offices, suites, meeting rooms, and other facilities for individuals and businesses. The client wanted to create private offices, suites, and meeting rooms in two phases. The project consisted of new drywall, electrical, HVAC, fire sprinkler, new kitchen millwork, and other trades.
Shaw Contract Showroom
Shaw Flooring is a global brand with outlets in 80 countries,specializing in high-end carpet tile, hardwood flooring, carpet. and LVT. We helped them showcase their products in a spectacular new showroom at the Merchandise Mart. The project included high-end millwork, engineered flooring installation, sophisticated carpet tile installation, a new conference room, kitchen, and much more. The result: A 360-degree demonstration of their brand throughout the XX-foot showroom.

Steelcase Chicago 2018
Steelcase is a world-renowned furniture manufacturer, which produces high-end office furniture, as well as architectural and technology products in the education, healthcare and retail sectors. The Michigan-based company’s goal: A showroom that displayed their product lines in each sector and also incorporated creative ideas and design. The project consisted of demolition, flooring, drywall/framing/carpentry, high-end millwork, electrical, plumbing, and many more trades to help provide the best showroom for Neocon 2018. The project featured “Woody,” which displayed a high-end millwork enhancement at the entrance of the showroom. With months of planning and many more months of construction, our team was able to construct a showroom that won Best Large showroom in Neocon and Best of Competition.
Takeform Showroom
Takeform provides exterior and interior signage for healthcare, education, corporate, library, senior living, government, and other sectors. The company was looking to build out a showroom that displayed their signage displays, along with their marketing materials. The buildout of the showroom consisted of new flooring, drywall, millwork, paint and digital displays. The project was everything our client envisioned and was delivered on time and within their schedule.
Workspring Offices
Workspring -- a coworking and shared office provider -- wanted to expand their footprint in Chicago with a new buildout at prime location in the heart of the Loop. The buildout of the space consisted of new drywall, HVAC system, electrical, fire sprinkler, millwork, glass and glazing, and other trades.
